How it will work
Teacher profile
Qualifications, experience, subjects, preferred location and availability.
Subject and teaching assessment
A timed assessment covering subject knowledge, teaching methodology, classroom management, student evaluation and digital and AI literacy.
Practical teaching evaluation (coming later)
For shortlisted candidates: a sample lesson plan, a short demonstration and scenario-based exercises.
Human review and interview
Authorised reviewers make every recruitment decision. Scores support a decision; they never make one.
Passing an assessment does not by itself give anyone teaching access on SmartPrepAfrica. Candidate details are only shared with a school with the candidate's consent.
