AI can help create a first draft. AI can suggest questions. AI can organize teaching materials. AI can help adapt content. AI can save time.
But the teacher reviews, changes, improves, contextualizes, and ultimately decides what reaches the classroom. HODs and academic leaders can also provide oversight where the school's workflow requires it.

African schools should not have to wait for educational technology designed somewhere else and then try to make it fit our classrooms.
Our schools have their own curricula, teaching environments, challenges, opportunities, and ways of working. SchoolAI Studio is being built with those realities in mind.
We are starting in Nigeria, learning directly from schools and educators, and building toward a platform capable of supporting teachers and students across Africa.
SchoolAI Studio is part of the broader SmartPrepAfrica ecosystem. SchoolAI Studio gives schools and teachers tools to create, manage, review, and improve educational content. SmartPrepAfrica helps students learn, practice, revise, and prepare.
The goal is to gradually create a connected education ecosystem where better tools for educators contribute to better learning experiences for students.
A Message from the Founder
When we started thinking about SchoolAI Studio, we kept coming back to one question: how can we use AI to genuinely make a teacher's day easier?
Teachers already carry so much. They teach, prepare lesson notes, set questions, mark assignments, manage students, prepare reports, and somehow still have to find time to plan for the next day.
We didn't want to build another technology platform that gives teachers one more thing to learn or one more system to manage. We wanted to build something that actually helps.
That is where SchoolAI Studio came from.
Imagine a teacher opening the school's scheme of work on Monday morning and having a strong first draft of the week's lesson ready in minutes. The teacher can review it, change it, add their own experience and teaching style, and make it their own. When necessary, the HOD can review it too.
The AI does some of the heavy lifting, but the teacher is still the teacher.
That part is very important to me.
I don't believe technology should replace our teachers. Some of the people who have the greatest impact on our lives are teachers. What technology can do is give them better tools and more time to do what only a good teacher can do — understand a child, explain something differently when they don't understand, encourage them, challenge them, and help them believe they can succeed.
And I believe African schools should be part of this AI revolution from the beginning. We shouldn't simply wait for educational technology designed somewhere else and try to make it fit our schools later.

So why shouldn't we help build the future ourselves?
SchoolAI Studio will continue to learn and improve. We won't get everything right on the first day. We will listen to teachers, principals, school owners, parents, and students, because ultimately this platform has to work for the people who use it every day.
If we can give a teacher back even a few hours every week, help a school improve the quality of its teaching materials, and ultimately help a student understand something a little better, then we are building something worthwhile.
That is what SchoolAI Studio is about.
